CircuitLib Electronics awarded the first prize at the “Second Student Contest on Business Plans and Innovative Ideas”. The Student Contest on Business Plans and Innovative Ideas was organized from the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Crete, in Greece. The contest started on June of 2013 and ended on March of 2014.
The award ceremony took place on Friday 7th of March 2014, at the seminar room of the School of Economics and Management of TEI of Crete. The ceremony started with the speeches of Mr. E. Zouros (Professor of TEI of Crete, Head of the Foundation Council of TEI of Crete),Mr. Emm. Tsiknakis (Assoc. Professor, Assoc. President of TEI of Crete and Chairman of the Management Committee ELKE of TEI of Crete), Mr. N. Cornelius (Professor of TEI of Crete and Principal Investigator of D.A.STA. of TEI of Crete), and Mr. A. Anastassakis (Professor of TEI of Crete and Principal Investigator of MO.K.E. of TEI of Crete). This was followed by the awards and the presentations of the first three winning business plans.
Prizes awarded to the winners as follow:
• To Mr. Manolis Tampouratzis, and Mr. Theodoros Kapetanakis, given the 1st prize for the business plan "Circuitlib-Electronic Circuits".
• To Mr. Dimitrios Vidakis, Mr Stavros Kavvousanos, and Mr George Tzagkarakis, given the the 2nd prize for the business plan "Laminate floor with fiber optics".
• To Mrs. Garyfalia Minos, given the 3rd prize for the business plan "Electronic remote control for blind people (replacement of the stick)".
Furthermore, certificates for participation and distinguished achievement awarded as follow:
• Distinguished Achievement: Awarded to Jacob Karapatakis, Stavros Akrasakis, Nikoleta Koromila, for their business plan on a "Software for learning math & practicing on languages "
• Distinguished Achievement: Awarded to Maria Kalogeraki, Manolis Kalogerakis, Irene Kalogeraki, for their business plan on a "E-pet organizer (mobile application)".
• Distinguished Achievement: Awarded to Plevritakis Nicholas, Nicholas - Manolis Skordilis, for their business plan on "BLEdoc: Motorcycle Security Alarm System".
• Certificate of Attendance: Given to Mr. Nicholas Kokolakis, for his business plan on "jam.com web site".
